Vor kurzem unternahm ich eine kleine Schneeschuhtour in der Nähe von Gruibingen.
Am Nordrand der Schwäbischen Alb startet die Tour am Deutschen Haus. Der Weg mit dem roten Strich des Schwäbischen Alb-Oberschwaben-Wegs führt direkt durch den Wald, hoch auf den Boßler (800 m ü. NN). Vom Boßler aus verläuft die Strecke immer am Trauf entlang. Das nächste Ziel ist der Jahrhundertstein, ein Kunstwerk in Form stehender Felsplatten aus Jurakalk. Auch hier hat man eine schöne Sicht auf das Albvorland und auf den sich südwärts anschließenden Albtrauf. Im Vordergrund liegt der Vulkankegel Limburg, links davon die Teck, die Bergnase des Breitensteins und die Kuppe des Auchterts.
Weiter führt der insgesamt knapp acht Kilometer lange Pfad am steilen Albtrauf entlang, bis er schließlich rechts abbiegt. Nun folgen wir dem mit dem blauen Dreieck markierten Weg und gelangen auf einem Zickzackpfad hinab bis nach Häringen.
Am Ortsrand biegen wir in den mit der blauen Raute markierten Weg ein und folgen ihm in den Wald. Schließlich gelangen wir wieder zurück zum Deutschen Haus.
