Dieser Campingplatz liegt am Skipsfjord gleich an der E69. Er ist 20 km von der Maut-Station Veidnes und 6 km von Honningsvåg entfernt. Bis zum Nordkap sind es dann noch 24 km.
Er hat von 1. Mai bis 1. Oktober geöffnet. Preise und Buchungmöglichkeit ist auf der Homepage des Platzes zu finden.
Die Küche und die sanitären Anlagen sind modern, super ausgestattet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Zeltwiese ist mit Gras bewachsen und größtenteils frei von Steinen. Nach einem längeren Regen war die Wiese etwas durchweicht, man konnte aber noch gut darauf Zelten. Der Campingplatz liegt in der Nähe des Meeres, weshalb er etwas anfällig für Wind ist. Die Berge drum rum bieten keinen Windschutz. Mit 145 Kr. je Zelt, Person und Nacht, gehört dieser Platz zu den teueren. Die Dusche kostet 5-10 Kr., ist dafür aber auch richtig schön heiß und Platz hat man auch mehr als genug. Die Rezeption ist lange geöffnet, man wird sehr freundlich bedient und es besteht die Möglichkeit das nötigste an Lebensmittel dort zu kaufen.
Der Platz (vor allem die Küche) hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
