Es freut mich, dass ihr so regelmaessig im Blog vorbeischaut. Seit meiner Ankunft in Neuseeland ist viel passiert. Die letzten Tage werde ich versuchen in naechster Zeit aufzuarbeiten.
Heute waren wir im Vulcanic Valley in dem es aus alle Ecken heiss sprodelte und rauchte. Einfach unglaublich. Wir wanderten ungefaehr 2 1/2 Stunden durch das Tal in dem es mehrere Kraterseen von teilweise noch sehr aktiven Vulkanen gibt. Entlang des kleinen Flusses blubberte und prodelte es ueberall und das Wasser faerbte den Untergrund in den verschiedensten Farben. Leider ist es nur sehr schwer moeglich Bilder hochzuladen, da die Verbindung sehr langsam ist.
Gestern:
Wir besuchten gestern unter anderem ein Maori Museum. Zu Beginn gab es ein Maorikonzert zu hoeren, gefolgt von einer Fuehrung. Im Muesum waren auch, ich glaube, 2 aktive Geysire, die konstant meterhohe Fontaenen auspiehen. Auch ich hier scheint der Untergrund wahrlich zu kochen.
