Am Montag 8.9. fuhr meze 124 km bei wechselhaftem Regenwetter bis 30 km vor Kongsvinger. 40 km lang suchte er einen Campingplatz, leider ohne Erfolg. Da blieb ihm nichts anderes übrig als neben der Straße in einem frischgemähten Kornfeld sein Zelt auf zuschlagen und dort zu übernachten. Am nächsten Morgen suchte er schnell das weite, da ihn die Mücken sehr belästigten und nervten.
Dienstag 8.9. fuhr er 70 km bis nach Nes. Weitere 24 km brauchte er, um in dieser Gegend einen geöffneten Campingplatz zu finden. Alle guten Dinge sind drei. Der dritte Campingplatz hatte geöffnet und ihm auch viel besser gefallen hat.
