So, nun ist meze in Namsos angekommen. 123 Kilometer ist er heute gefahren und morgen geht es weiter nach Steinkjer. Wetter und Stimmung noch gut.
Die Stadt Namsos befindet sich an einer kleinen Bucht in der Nähe des Namsenfjord und an der Mündung des Flusses Namsen. Der Hauptteil der Stadt wurde im kleinen tiefliegenden Vorgebirge erbaut, das sich bis in den Hafen hinein erstreckt. Im Norden erheben sich die schwach bewaldeten Hügel ziemlich steil auf über 180 Meter. Ostwärts erstreckt sich das weite Namsental.
