Diese ca. 8 Kilometer lange und landschaftlich sehr schöne Loipe führt uns vom Otto-Hoffmeister-Haus vorbei am Schoplocher Moor Richtung Diepoldsburg.
Bevor wir die Diepoldsburg und den Engelhof erreichen biegen wir links ab. Rechter Hand liegt in einiger Entfernung der Wielandstein, ein bekanntes Wander- und Kletterziel.
Kurze Zeit später erreichen wir eine steilere Abfahrt, die bei ungünstigen Verhältnis stark vereist sein kann. Nachdem wir die Abfahrt gemeistert haben geht es über leichte Hügel, durch Wald und über Wiesen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
