Ruhetag in Oslo
Nachdem um 6 Uhr der übelst rumrotzende und schnarchende Zimmernachbar den Raum verlassen hatte, atmeten ich und meine beiden Mitbewohner auf und schliefen noch zwei Stunden in Ruhe. Nach dem Frühstück lernte ich Alessandro aus Italien kennen, der in 15 Tagen Rom, Barcelona, Paris, London, Dublin, Oslo und Frankfurt bereiste. Wir sprachen über unsere Reisen und schauten gemeinsam Fotos an. Dann fuhr ich mit dem Rad vier Kilometer ins Zentrum von Oslo hinein, stellte es dort ab und erkundete Oslo zu Fuß.
Am Nachmittag besichtigte ich das kulturhistorische Museum und wollte danach noch ins Kunstmuseum. Ich hatte jedoch einen so vollen Kopf von Wikingern, Ägyptern, Ostasiaten und Kulturen aus der Arktis, dass ich anstatt ins Kunstmuseum zu gehen, lieber in den Park rund um das königliche Schloss ging und dort etwas entspannte. Danach schlenderte ich noch durch Aker Brygge, einer Art Einkaufsmeile, bestieg die 700 Jahre alte Festung Akershus und hielt mich rund um den Hafen auf. Mit schweren Beinen kehrte ich, als es langsam dunkel wurde, zurück in die Jugendherberge.
